McKenzie School Scores an A on State Report Card

The Alabama Department of Education has released the Alabama State Report Card, containing a letter grade for schools and school systems across the state. The Report Card reflects several different factors, including academic achievement, academic growth, and chronic absenteeism, as well as graduation rates and college and career readiness for high schools.

McKenzie School has been designated as an Alabama Bicentennial School. The school received a gubernatorial commendation signed by Gov. Kay Ivey, a bicentennial flag, and bicentennial-themed school resources and supplies. The program encourages community outreach and improvement projects to connect classrooms with local communities.
